Recently, a delegation led by Zhang Jianxing, Deputy Party Secretary of Xuecheng District Government and Director of Zaozhuang Economic Development Zone Management Committee, along with Luo Feng, Chairman of Xuejing Group, Cao Shuai, Vice Chairman of the same group, and Shan Yingfei, Operations Director of Xuejing Group's Konggu Zhixing Co., Ltd., visited Zhejiang Suofu Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. for a research tour. Suofu Aviation's Chairman Yi Jiachi extended a warm welcome, and the two sides held in-depth discussions on the development of the low-altitude economy, technological innovation, and collaborative opportunities.
Exploring "Black Technology" in Low-altitude Exhibition Hall:Two Core Products Attract Attention
Accompanied by Chairman Yi Jiachi, the delegation first visited the Safran Aviation Low-Altitude Exhibition Hall, where they closely examined two flagship products: the SFW150V large drone and the SF20V manned vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
SFW150V Large UAV: A "Versatile" for Industrial Scenarios
The SFW150V large-scale drone is a heavy-load aircraft engineered for industrial-grade applications, featuring substantial payload capacity and extended flight range. It is widely applicable in logistics, emergency rescue, agricultural and forestry operations, and other fields. With its exceptional wind resistance, high load-bearing capacity, and extended endurance, this model excels in complex environments, demonstrating Suofu Aviation's mature expertise in high-end aircraft manufacturing.
SF20V manned vertical take-off and landing aircraft: a new species of low-altitude travel
As a flagship product of Suofu Aviation, the SF20V manned vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft features a vertical takeoff and landing design that eliminates the need for dedicated runways. It can operate from urban rooftops or open spaces, making it ideal for urban air traffic, business commuting, emergency rescue, and other scenarios. The aircraft employs a hybrid fuel-electric system, addressing the short flight duration limitation of pure electric eVTOL aircraft. With a maximum range of 1,200 kilometers, it combines the dual advantages of extended fuel endurance and easy-to-operate electric vertical takeoff and landing, offering a groundbreaking solution for low-altitude travel.
Developing the Conference Room and Drawing a New Blueprint of Low-altitude Economy
After the tour, both parties moved to the meeting room, where Chairman Yi Jiachi presented a detailed PPT to the delegation, outlining Suofu Aviation's development history, R&D capabilities, and future plans.
Founded in 2020, Sofu Aviation is China's leading developer and manufacturer of manned low-altitude aircraft. The company specializes in next-generation intelligent manned aircraft, with its core team drawn from aviation manufacturing and flight control systems. From material selection to propulsion design, all aspects are guided by three key principles: safety, cost efficiency, and scalable operations. Since the project's launch in 2020, the team has completed the entire process—from aircraft design and mold manufacturing to component processing. By the end of 2024, the SF20V two-seat VTOL aircraft prototype was successfully deployed, and its maiden test flight was completed by the end of 2025.
The SF20V vertical takeoff and landing aircraft has been delivered to Anji Tianzihu Airport in Zhejiang Province, ready for its maiden public flight. Boasting excellent airspace conditions and a comprehensive flight support system, the airport serves as an ideal venue for public flight demonstrations. All preparations for this inaugural flight—including airspace coordination, ground support, air traffic control, and external tracking and control—are now in place.
Government and enterprises work together to promote the high-quality development of low-altitude economy
The delegation highly commended Suofu Aviation's technological innovation capabilities and product portfolio. Director Zhang Jianxing noted that Xuecheng District is actively developing its low-altitude economy sector, having established a preliminary low-altitude manufacturing cluster encompassing "full-range drones, core components, and power/control systems." Suofu Aviation's technical expertise and product strengths in manned low-altitude aircraft perfectly align with Xuecheng's industrial priorities, creating vast potential for collaboration in R&D and industrial implementation.
Chairman Yi Jiachi noted that Xuecheng District's strategic industrial layout in the low-altitude economy sector has created an ideal environment for business growth. He expressed his hope for deeper collaboration with the district in the future, aiming to jointly drive innovation and upgrading in this field, and deliver more high-quality solutions for both low-altitude travel and industrial applications.
This research has established a robust communication bridge between both parties, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration. Going forward, the two sides will leverage this initiative to deepen exchanges and cooperation, jointly explore innovative pathways for the development of the low-altitude economy, and drive its high-quality growth.
